We’re homeowners!!!

Everything went off without a hitch! Well, if you exclude the fact that Rob was up all night puking and shitting and that we got lost on the way there and forgot to bring our checkbook. HA! We’re still not sure what the deal is with Rob – I’m kind of thinking it might be nerves/stress, but he was REALLY sick. Poor thing. Thankfully he was well enough to sit as a passenger for the ride there and to sign his name on all the documents to make it all official and stuff.

Can you believe the whole thing took, like, 40 minutes? That’s IT! It was so amazingly easy and painless. I don’t believe a single horror story I’ve heard before now. ;-) No, major props to our mortgage broker. This guy worked his ass off to ensure we had a smooth experience. He’s got the best story, too. When he bought his first house, he had a nightmare of an experience and he vowed that he was going to make a difference in the field. So he turned into a mortgage broker and makes it his job to see that no one else goes through the pain he did. Isn’t that awesome?
