Yesterday I went to my brother’s to babysit his three kids with my sister. I also brought along my kids to help out. We had a nice afternoon and evening – I just love my twin nieces to death!! I love my nephew, too, but he’s almost 5 and already has some serious attitude going, so it’s a lot easier to like the girls since they’re still sweet. LOL! Plus, they are just adorable and incredibly well-behaved for two year olds!
Before we put the girls to bed, we gave them a shower – they insisted they get showers now and not baths. Their parents were highly amused to hear that since they do still get baths and Greg has only given them a few showers so far! Ha! The showers started out great – they were giggling like crazy and having a good time. But when I started to wash Katie’s hair and the water got all in her face, she started bawling. Woops! It didn’t get any better when I rinsed, either… but at least it was over fast. I had to do Sara next and naturally she said she didn’t want it done. The funniest thing, though, was Katie said to her, “Oh yes you do!!” (have to get it done). Hee hee!!!
At bed time, we all sang songs. That was the sweetest feeling ever. Me and my little sister singing with my brother’s two little girls… ahhhh… memories are made of this. After a few songs, Sara decided she wanted to sing all by herself. She sang Rudolph and it was so adorable, I ran to get my camera to record her singing more songs. Here’s Sara singing… no video, just audio – it was too dark in there.
Totally cute, right? So sweet!!
