I have a question for those of you with kids 10 and older: are they responsible for getting up on their own in the mornings or do you still wake them up? I ask because I’ve been thinking about making my kids be more responsible in this area. I want to get them each a clock radio so they’ll be able to use it to listen to their music and set their own alarm clocks. I’d like to get them a somewhat nice radio that will grow with them and have reasonable sound quality - they do like to listen to their tunes ya know. So I’ve been searching around and found a great online guide for digital radio that explains the different technologies (who knew there was more than one?! Not me.) and helps you make the right choice for your situation. After reading through this, I’m starting to think I might need a new radio in my room, too! Heh.

I might have made this week too hard, I haven’t received a single guess yet! Hopefully today’s song and clue will help.
So here’s the deal: I’m going to pick 5 songs each week that are related and have a theme of some sort. I’ll post one song per day with or without hints and you guys guess what the theme is. First person to guess the theme wins… $5! That’s right, you can win real cash money right here on my little ole’ blog. (You have to be able to accept PayPal payments.) Are you game?
Here’s this week’s third song:
In Your Eyes by Peter Gabriel [right click, save as]
And your clue: “I don’t want to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career. I don’t want to sell anything bought or processed, or buy anything sold or processed, or process anything sold, bought, or processed, or repair anything sold, bought, or processed. You know, as a career, I don’t want to do that.”
Leave your guesses in the comments!

I’m watching the finale of The Bachelor - man they drag these things out. If Lorenzo doesn’t pick Sadie, I will be shocked! They just seem so compatible and perfect for each other. It seems like his family really warmed up to her more so than Jen, too. And Saide’s list of what she deserves in a man - that was amazing. I’d love to read the whole text.
I still don’t know how these people do this stuff, though… how does the bachelor pick one girl if he truly has feelings for more than one? Do the bachelors ever think later - I should have never let that other girl go home weeks ago? And how do the girls ALL fall for the bachelor? I mean, there has to be at least one girl who is not attracted to the guy, right?? Weird.
