Thank you all so much for your responses to my earlier post asking how to get started in looking to find a family to sponsor/adopt for the holidays. I found a local organization through the United Way and they are going to send me the information on the family in the next week or so. We’re going to be providing Christmas gifts as well as Christmas dinner. I could just cry thinking about it – I love that we are able to do this!! I only wish we could be there to see the looks on their faces as they enjoy their Christmas day, but I guess I’ll just have to know that joy exists in my heart. Man, I’m ready to start playing the Christmas carols now! I’m all pumped up and full of spirit! This must be how Santa Claus feels. :-)
