WordPress 2.1 Release

WordPress’s highly anticipated update to their software, version 2.1 is going to be released tomorrow, 1/22. Exciting! Here is a great article on what you can expect to find.
They’ve made improvements to the RTE (Rich Text editor). This is much needed as I have the RTE turned off right now because it sucks so bad. Hopefully the upgrade will bring some usability to that feature. Another thing I’m looking forward to is auto saves of drafts. I’ve lost a lot of posts by accident, so hopefully that won’t happen any more. Other than that, I don’t see anything in this list that has me super excited about the release, but I’m sure I’ll try it out anyway.
Are you planning on upgrading?
Gosh, I am so out of it that I didn’t know that there was an update. I guess I will have to look into it.
I stopped using the RTE for the same reason. I don’t think I’ll be upgrading as soon as it is released, but I will.
