It’s Like A Whole New Dog

Yesterday we spent a lot of time at my mom’s house. Good times. We brought Grace with us, of course, and my sister brought her two dogs, too. Her older dog, Czar, is a 7 year old (I think!) Rottweiler and her puppy, Scrappy, is a 10 month old Cane Corso Mastiff. Big dogs. Scrappy is the dog that chewed my hearing aids, but I’ve forgiven him for that. I’m a sucker for the puppy dogs, what can I say?
So Grace had the time of her freaking life yesterday. She and Scrappy went at it for hours and hours. It was so much fun to watch, they kept us quite entertained! It was just unbelievable how much they loved each other. We took a couple of pictures so you can see them, of course.

So Grace has been like a new dog today. She’s been extremely mellow and relaxed, taking a lot of naps. I bet her muscles are worn out from all the playing she did yesterday! It’s been kind of nice, actually, I think we need to schedule a weekly play date with Scrappy. I need to ask my sister if Scrappy is tired out today, too. I bet he is!
They are all such pretty dogs! I bet they’re worn out.

I had to comment on this post as not only am I a Postie but a Doctor of Audiology. Dogs for some reason love to eat hearing aids. I would see this several times a year… Sorry it happened :( They are so overpriced in most markets!

Belle used to love playing with her littermates when they were little. Two of them live within a block of us. Unfortunately, they haven’t been neutered so they’re a bit too aggressive now for Belle. I love seeing dogs play together!

Ah, mahalo for sharing that! Love watching dogs play together. My poi dog, Buddy, is old and grumpy, but even an old senior citizen like him gives in sometimes & rough-houses with Lancie. It brings all three of us joy!

During the summer, everyone brings their dogs to the family get togethers. They have sooo much fun!! Except for poor Dizzy who had a boy dog who wanted in her pants LOL
