American Idol – Results

Who will be the first of the top 12 to go home? If there’s any justice in this world, it will be Sanjaya. Let’s see what happens.

The three with the lowest number of votes are: Brandon Rogers, Phil Stacey, and … and we have to wait to find out.

First we get to see Diana Ross perform “Every Day’s a New Day”. I love this song. Diana is an icon and did a good job, but her age is definitely showing. Getting old sucks, doesn’t it?

Okay, back to the results. Please be Sanjaya rounding out that bottom three! YES!!!!!!! There is hope yet.

Phil gets to sit back down, that’s not a surprise. He’s got to be less creepy (if that’s possible) if he wants to stay much longer. And now for the final result. Sanjaya is still with us. Brandon Rogers goes home. I knew he wouldn’t last long, but he deserved to stay longer than Sanjaya.

Oh! The going home song! I wondered what it would be this year. We had Daniel Powter’s “Bad Day” last year. I’m not sure what this song is but it’s not too bad. Next week Sanjaya goes home. Hopefully.

Ooh… Chris Daughtry singing the going home song? I might have to watch what I taped after all! LOL I can’t believe Sanjaya is still there. UGH. I don’t want to have to listen to him next week!
