Interview Meme

Filed Under (MeMeMeMe!) by Amy on 04-17-2007

Julie was interviewed by Kat in the Interview Meme and I asked to be interviewed by Julie. Here are the questions she sent me, along with my answers.

1. Are you comfortable speaking in public?
Absolutely. I’m always nervous, of course, but I do actually enjoy doing it and get a high out of it once I’m done. I especially enjoy speaking in public about things I’m passionate about, like when I tell my story of recovery. It’s always easy to talk about myself!

2. Do you think boys are easier to raise than girls?
I do think they’re easier to raise, for the most part, but I think girls are closer to their parents once they’re grown. I always wanted to only have boys because I dreaded the teenage years with girls, but now I kind of wish I also had a girl for when she hits adulthood.

3. How many pairs of shoes do you own?
Heh. When I first read this question, I actually gasped because I knew the number was going to be somewhat, er… high. I counted tonight and I actually have 58 pairs. Is that a lot? That’s for all seasons and included flip flops! The great thing is, I went downstairs in my closet to count the summer styles and I found a box of sweaters and other winter clothes I had totally forgotten about. There were 7 sweaters in there! I was hoping for warm weather, but now I hope it stays cool enough for me to wear each of these sweaters real quick before the weather changes.

4. Are you secretly hoping Sanjaya will win American Idol, and you just don’t want to admit it?
Hahahaha!! Uh, no.

5. Do you have any regrets? (this is just a great question for everyone)
Overall, I always like to say that I don’t regret anything because everything I’ve done has made me the person I am today. And I like that person a lot. However, there are a number of things I wish I never did. I know it would have altered the course of my life and I wouldn’t be the same person or have the same life - dude, I’ve seen “Back To The Future”, okay? So I don’t *really* regret them, just kinda. Ya know?

After you are done reading mine and you want to keep it going….

1. Leave me a comment saying, “Interview me.”
2. I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
3. You will update your weblog with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.
