RIP Liz Claiborne

Aww, I just read that Liz Claiborne passed away yesterday. She was 78 years old, bless her heart. I still remember when I first discovered the Liz Claiborne brand, and thought I was some hot shit right there. From her business suits with the giant, embedded shoulder pads, to her perfumes and purses, I was one stylin’ chick in the 90s thanks to Liz. Today I’m not so much a fan of her perfumes any more, but I still buy her clothes and shoes. I hope the company brand doesn’t change too much now that she’s gone.
Well, now I’m really bummed. She knew how to make clothes that fit and flatter a woman’s shape, Just bought two of her shirts not long ago. RIP, Liz.
She sure is a great inspiration. I even remember that the first time I received a compliment for my business suit, it was Liz’s winter collection.
Hopefully her company will continue on!
Oh, dear. I had no idea Liz was elderly. I always had this image of her as a sunny blonde thing in her early 40s.

Say, when people walked by her casket, did they say “My, she looks good.” or was that a given? After all, she was Liz Claiborne… :)
