Nurse Mama

So today flew by. I spent it at home because Aric is sick. Poor guy has been feeling really nauseous, dizzy, and has the chills. He’s been running a fever and threw up last night around 2 AM. It was nice playing nurse for him, though, because I feel like I have my baby back. The kids are so grown, independent, and self-sufficient these days that I relish any chance I can get to lay on the mama love. They don’t accept it like they used to, that’s for sure.

That switching hosts thing? Took up the majority of my day. I moved to HostGator - who absolutely rock! - and they offer unlimited Addon domains, so I am moving all of the sites Rob and I both operate to this new host. We’re talking about 8 sites total, and I had to do a lot of the WordPress database stuff on three blogs manually. I’m pretty much done except for two sites, one of which now has a SQL Server backend and I’m moving it to a mySQL backend. I’m not sure if it will change much in anything I have to do to get it running, but I’m putting it off until last just in case.

Looks like I’ll be home again tomorrow, but I think Aric is feeling loads better. I have a feeling my nursing hours are numbered.
