Pixel Protector

Right after we got our new plasma TV, we thought there was a spot where pixels were missing. We bought the floor model since it was the last one in the showroom and we got a good deal on it, so when we saw that, we both freaked out a little bit. Thankfully, that wasn’t the case – all of our pixels are intact, but I just discovered there’s a protect that could fix a missing pixel, and more. Check out Pixel Protector – this is amazing. It’s a DVD that can repair burnt out pixels, remove screen burn, and even calibrate your TV for better performance.

I had no idea something like this even existed, because Rob is constantly making sure we turn the TVs off so we don’t get screen burn. In fact, on our last TV, we had some screen burn on the sides from the wide screen effect; I bet Pixel Protector could have removed it. Who would’ve thought? Certainly not us.

I’m impressed that Pixel Protector only costs $39.95; I think that’s a really low price to pay to protect such a high dollar investment. Buying a big screen TV like ours is an investment, and we’ve been worried about issues that can be fixed or prevented by a mere $40. Gotta love that.

That’s really neat. Doesn’t seem like it should work..

  2. I’d be shocked if that works. Having tried the one for PC’s (our patio and paving company work machine had 2 pixels stuck white), I’ve tried several of those programs to restore the ‘stuck’ pixel, to no avail. Glad to hear that yours are all ok ;)

  3. I wonder if that really works. Seems kind of bizarre..I wonder if they have something like that for a monitor.
