I need to wear a sign today: Warning, I am one miserable bitch.
Yesterday I woke up with swelling underneath my left eye. I wasn’t sure what it was from, but after Googling, I figured it was related to either allergies or getting my period. It was Sunday, so I wasn’t too concerned about it, thinking it would go away in a day.
Wrong! I woke up this morning and it is more swollen than it was yesterday. Fantastic!
Then in the shower, as I was shaving my legs, I thought I had a lot of mosquito bites on my leg for someone who wore pants and sprayed bug spray all over herself Saturday night. Once I got out of the shower I realized they weren’t mosquito bites after all; nope, I have some form of poison ivy/sumac/oak on my legs! Rob just got over a nasty infection on his arms, so we obviously have this in our yard somewhere, but we don’t know where. I’ll be arming myself with pictures of the various plants, long-sleeved pants and shirt and going on a little chopping adventure as soon as it stops raining.
To complete the trifecta, I’ve also got the worst cramps ever since it’s that wonderful time of the month. Yay!
On second thought, I might not need a sign, I’m fairly certain one look at my face will tell people all they need to know today.
OH NO! I hope you figure out what it is and get it cleared up quickly. I’d be a miserable bitch too – for certain. Sorry :(
Note to self: Don’t mess with Amy today!
that sucks! When it rains it pours huh? Hope you feel better soon!
Urgh. Sounds positively horrible. Hope you feel better soon!
So sorry, Amy – that your week is starting out so rotten! I’ll be thinking of you today, and I hope it helps! {{{Amy}}}
Ok, you have my crappy Monday beat! I wish we could all just go home and go back to bed.
Ugghhh! What a horrible way to start the week. I hope you track down that poison whatever and obliterate it. Hope you get to feeling better.
Poor Amy!! I hope things look up after lunchtime. (I guess it is after lunchtime for you. Ha. They lookin’ up yet?)
(((Amy))) Gee, I thought I was having a crappy day. I hope you feel and look better soon.
