No Place Like It

Our company is not having its annual trip to Vegas this year. I don’t even know if I was going to be selected to go this time, but I’m disappointed all the same. I’ve been there twice now and I’m still extremely enthralled with so much about the place. From the Las Vegas Hotels, to the clubs, to the shows – there is just nothing quite like a trip to Sin City.

There’s a remote possibility that I’ll be returning to Vegas in November for some blogging conferences, but it’s not looking very promising at the moment. It’s a sad year, folks. I didn’t get my Virginia Beach or Las Vegas fixes in! I need to rectify both of these next year. I’ve already spent a good deal of time looking at Las Vegas Hotels online. The biggest problem is there are so many to choose from! Should we stay at Mirage? The Venetian? Paris? Bellagio? MGM Grand? Somewhere else? Each one has its own set of pros and cons as far as amenities, price, and location are concerned. One thing is certain, though, I don’t think I’d ever stay at any of the Las Vegas Hotels that are not on the strip. Staying there is half the fun of being in Vegas itself, in my opinion.

Where’s your favorite place to stay in Vegas and why?

Whenever I get to go to Vegas I would really like to stay at the Hard Rock Hotel, it has always seemed like a cool place to me.
