It’s All a Blur

Man, it’s been a busy week!
We had Aric’s birthday on Monday - so we went out to eat and clothes shopping afterwards once we got off work. Tuesday night I drove up to NYC because I was attending an event at Google on Wednesday. The Google event was incredible, naturally. I loved checking out the place and experiencing the lunch on the 8th Floor at their Horizons cafe. Incredible. On the way home from Google, I got in an accident on the NJ Turnpike.
Short version: I was in the center lane, the other guy was in the left lane and he swerved over and sideswiped by car. The entire left side is damaged, but driveable. No one was injured. Pictures can be found on my Flickr set here: Pilot Accident
Wednesday night, I had a business meeting for one of my 12-step groups. Yesterday I was back in the office, but had a few meetings and the day just flew by. Then I had a 12-step meeting to attend, and I just so happened to be leading this month so I had to find some literature on the 10th step to talk about. After the meeting, Aric and I went to the grocery store where I forgot my 20% off coupon that expires on Saturday. Grr. Today I’m at work, but only for a couple more hours. I leave at 12 and then I’m heading to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware for a regional business meeting for one of my 12-step groups. Man, I sure do a lot of stuff with 12-step groups, huh? I’m so grateful, too.
In between all that, I’m pretty sure I have a uterine fibroid - so I’ve been talking to my GYN about that. I’ll go in next week to get checked out.
And that’s the really quick update on what’s going on with me this week! I hope to check in over the next few days, but in case I don’t - you all have a great weekend!
It sounds like you are having what I am having - a no-breather week. This weekend, however, I plan to breathe. Actually, once I get the chores out of the way Saturday morning, all I plan to do is breathe. Maybe read a little. Maybe eat something horribly fattening. But just breathing is the number one goal.

I’m so sorry about the accident! I’m glad no one was hurt. I hope you can get some answers on the GYN problems. How is Aric doing with the Lyme Disease? I miss talking to you ladies. Hope all is well. I’m in the middle of some life-changing stuff now - hopefully good, though there’s been a lot of bad preceding all of it! Been a hell of a summer for everyone, it seems. lol
