Shoe Shopping!

I went shoe shopping this weekend while I was in Rehoboth Beach. I always love going down there and stocking up on new shoes for the upcoming season. Since I go in April and October, I’m able to get my fill of shoes for all four seasons pretty easily. Until just a few short years ago, I was never really into shoes, either. I always just went to Payless and got a pair or two for each season and considered it all good. I didn’t understand the obsession with shoes some of my girlfriends seemed to have - shoes weren’t something I ever thought about except when I had to put them on to go outside.
But now, it’s all different. I know designer names and have preferences for shoes made by certain makers. My head turns and my feet stop in their tracks when I see things like Josef Seibel shoes on a sign outside a store today. Seemingly out of the blue, one day I started getting hooked on shoes and I’ve never looked back. I’m sure Rob wishes I would look back, though. I’ve got closets full of shoes now! It’s hard to believe there was ever a day I didn’t know about and appreciate brands such as Geox shoes. Or that there was a time when I didn’t really care if my shoes were perfect for my outfit or not; they just had to generally match what I was wearing and I considered myself fully dressed. Today I wouldn’t dream of not having at least a few different choices for black and brown shoes to choose from when picking out my clothes for the day. Sometimes I even decide what clothes I’ll wear after I pick which shoes I feel like wearing.
I guess there’s no mistaking it: I’ve turn into a certified shoeaholic!
Dwaine consideres me a shoeaholic. But I know better. I’m nowhere near that status. Silly man!
Yumm Shoes! My favorite shoe season is spring.
I hate shoe shopping, I have such big feet.
