Whatever I Feel LikeGosh!

My car is in the shop getting all fixed up from the accident. Yay! I’m happy about this because it was so terribly hard to look at my beautiful baby every day all banged up to hell.

So what’s the problem? (You knew a problem was coming, didn’t you?)

It’s the rental car - a white 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. I used to think I wanted one of these. Maybe it’s the package this car has, but I *hate* it. I am missing my Honda Pilot something fierce right now. It handles better and feels better when I sit in the driver’s seat. Not to mention I am missing the leather, heated seats, GPS Navigation system, and mirror on the back so I can see when I back up in my navigation screen. Oh, and this rental car had less than 400 miles on it when I picked it up and smelled like a freakin’ ashtray. I had to go buy some of those scented cans to overpower the smoke smell. Gross.

However, there is one really great thing about the Jeep: it’s got Sirius Satellite Radio. Now I have XM in my car, which I just love, love, love… but XM does not have Howard Stern. I am been in Howard heaven the past few days! If I had Sirius in my car, I don’t think I’d ever hear a song again unless it was played on the Stern show. I can’t get enough, which is convenient since the show can be heard round the clock! This week was the first time I’d heard the show since they moved to satellite; it’s so weird to hear all the blatant cursing.

I’ll be glad to get my car back, but I sure am going to miss Howard!
