Colleen just posted about her love for Big Love - a show I’m a big fan of, too. If you haven’t seen it yet, I’d encourage you to check it out! It’s actually very compelling and timely considering all the polygamists in the news these days. In her blog post, Colleen pointed out the quiz on Big Love’s site where you can find out which of the sister-wives you are most like. I’ve always really related to Jeanne Tripplehorn’s character, Barb, so I had a good idea what my results would be.

And I was right - I’m a Barb.

In more football news, I just read that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has determined that the New England Patriots violated league rules Sunday when they videotaped defensive signals by the New York Jets’ coaches. D’oh! Busted. And the announcers were making fun of the Eagles shielding their coaches when they were calling plays. Not that the shielding helped the Eagles, but still, it’s sad that it’s necessary.

Why would the Patriots even resort to cheating? They seem to be doing just fine on the basis of sheer talent. I watched part of their game on Sunday and the Tom Brady / Randy Moss connection seemed to be a match made in Heaven. I hope there is some punishment for this - it wouldn’t be fair if they got away with it - the NFL needs to make an example out of them so other teams don’t start following suit.

I just read that the Philadelphia Eagles have re-signed Reno Mahe to a one year deal as a punt returner. After Sunday’s fiasco with Greg Lewis and J.R. Reed, they need to do something! Sadly, though, Reed has been released - I thought he showed promise, whereas Greg Lewis seems to screw up on a regular basis. All eyes will be on Mahe Monday night when they take on the Redskins. Hopefully he will deliver.

In other news around the NFL, Kevin Everett from the Buffalo Bills seems to be making some progress after his devastating spinal injury on Sunday. Thankfully!!

I am hooked on Rosie O’Donnell’s blog.

I never felt strongly about her one way or the other as she made her rise to fame, so I’m kind of surprised at how much I enjoy reading her blog. I also can not stand people who type like this, “u r great” - but guess what? That’s what Rosie does and it doesn’t bother me in the least. I don’t know what it is about her style that sucks me in - maybe it’s her honesty and the sense I get that she is just a very real, down to earth person who happens to be rich and famous.

Whatever it is… it’s got me, but good.

If you’ll excuse me, I need to go leave her another message in hopes that she posts and responds to it.
