Technorati Faves

Friday, April 27th, 2007

I’ve been out of the loop on all things Internet for the past couple of weeks, but I happened to catch this in my referrers on my WP Dashboard tonight. Tip Tail has added me to the Technorati Favorites exchange that is going around and now I’m passing on the favor. Apparently, this whole list exchange was started by http://www.doshdosh.com/ on his Dosh Dosh’s Technorati Favorites Exchange post. Here’s my part!

My RSS Feed

Friday, March 30th, 2007

My RSS feed is jacked on this blog. I don’t know what happened to it or what I did, but it’s suddenly not working. I want to just reset it to default, but, um. How do I do that? I haven’t looked at the Codex on WordPress yet, hopefully there will be some answers there. Or feel free to drop me a line in the comments if you happen to read this. Thanks!

Fun with Greasemonkey

Tuesday, March 13th, 2007

A couple weeks ago, I finally asked someone on Flickr how to do those cool replies to other people using their icons. Joelle was kind enough to help me out and let me in on the cool kids’ secret. First, I had to get Greasemonkey, a Firefox extension that allows you to customize the way web pages look and function. Next, I got the Flickr Greasemonkey script, Buddy Icon Reply. Sweet, right?

Check out these other great Greasemonkey scripts. They’re hot! Hopefully this weekend I will have time to install a few of them and play.

12 Google Tips

Wednesday, March 7th, 2007

We all know Google is set to take over the world (or at least the Internet), so we might as well learn how to use it most effectively. Check out these 12 Quick Tips to Search Google Like an Expert. A lot of these I already knew and use on a regular basis, but there are a couple of gems in there that I didn’t pay much attention to before. Good stuff.
